Note:Becarefulnotto placehands
betweenthe springhingeandthe
ovendoorframe.Thehingecould
snapbackandpinchfingers.
Washwithhot, soapywater.For
stubbornspots,usea solutionof
ammoniaandwater.Do not
immersethedoorin water.

Removetheovenshelves.

centerofovenandremove.

downscrewsateachfrontcorner.
If screwsaretootightto removeby
hand,usea screwdriver.

of theoven,keepingtherearofthe
ovenbottomglidingon thebottom
ofthelowestshelfglide.Thiskeeps
itfromcatchingontheburnerigniter
shield.Toreplacethebottom,just
reversethisprocedure,makingsure
theIWOtabsontherearoftheoven
bottomgointotheslotsattherear.
Theovenbottomhasa porcelain
enamelfinish.Tomakecleaning
easier,protecttheovenbottom
fromexcessivespillovers.Thisis
particularlyimportantwhenbaking
a fruitpieor otherfoodswithhigh
acidcontent.Hotfruitfillingsor
foodsthatareacidincontentsuch
asmilk,tomatoor sauerkraut,and
sauceswithvinegaror lemon
juice,maycausepittinganddamage
totheporcelainenamelsurface.
Toprotecttheovenbottomsurface,
placeapieceofaluminumfoil
slightlylargerthanthebakingdish
or smallcookiesheeton alower
rackor underthebakingdishto
catchanyboilovers.It shouldnot
completelycovertherackasthis
wouldcauseunevenheatinthe
oven.Aluminumfoilshouldnot
beplacedon theovenbottom.
If a spilloverdoesoccuronthe
ovenbottom,allowthe oventocool
first. Youcancleanthebottomwith
soapandwater,a mildabrasive
cleanser,soap-filledabrasivepads,
or causticovencleanerfollowing
manufacturer’sdirections.
Whenapplyingovencleaner,
becarefulnottogetitonthe
countertop,floor,continuous-
cleaningovenpartsor anyother
surface.
Note:Porcelainovendoorlinerand
ovenbottommaybecleanedwitha
commercialovencleaner.They
mustberemovedandcleanedaway
fromtheovento preventdamageto
thecontinuous-cleaningovenliner.
