Notice: the appliance is fitted with a diagnosis system which
detects any malfunctions. The user is informed of the latter
by messages such as:
• "F nn" (nn = a number comprising two digits): in these
cases, you need to call for technical assistance as the
oven is faulty;
• "W nn" (nn = number comprising two digits): in these
cases, it is best to call for technical assistance as the
oven has detected a malfunction, although it contin-
ues to operate.
Troubleshooting
If your oven releases a lot of smoke during cooking:
• Make sure you have selected the correct cooking mode for the type of dish you want to prepare and that you have
selected the right accessories and put the dish in the oven at the recommended rack height.
• Check the temperature selected: is it too high for the type of cooking required?
• Check the degree of soil of the oven, and whether it needs to be cleaned. Food residue encrusted onto the enamel
coating inside the oven becomes charred and creates both smoke and pungent smells.
• Splashes of grease or overflows onto very hot surfaces create smoke.
