Self-CleaningCycle
1. Removethe broiler pan and grid,
oven racks,utensils,and anyfoil
that may be in the oven.
2. Soilon the front frame andoutside
the gasket on the door liner will
need to be cleaned by hand.

Clean these areas with hot water,
soap-filled steel-woolpads, or
cleansers such as Soft Scrub®to
remove any soil, Rinsewell with clean
water and dry.
3. Wipe up any heavy apillovers on
the oven bottom.

Do not clean the gasket. The
fiberglass material of the oven
door gasketcannot withstand
abrasion. It is essential for the
gasketto remain intact. If you
notice itbecoming worn or frayed,
itshould be replaced.
The gasketis designedtohave a
5"-6"gap at the bottomofthe door.
This allowsfor proper aircirculation.

Itis normalfor your oven doorto give
theappearance of nothavinga good
sealagainstthe range. This is due to
the gasket. The location of the gasket
on the door maintains a good seal
and prevents any heat loss.
Utensils should never be

self-clean cycle.
The oven racks may be cleaned
during the eelf-cisen cycle, but
will lose their luster and become
hardto slide, if you choose
to leavethem In during the
cycle, wiping them down with
vegetable oil after the cycle will
helpthem slide easier.
For thefirst clean cycle, ventthe
room with an opened window or
hood vent. This will reduce the
odor produced when heating
new parts.
