IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed including the following:
■ Read all instructions before using Knife.
■ To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse cord,
plug, or Knife in water or other liquid. Do not operate Knife in
water or under running water. See instructions for cleaning.
■ Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used
near children.
■ This appliance is not for use by children.
■ Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking
off parts, and before cleaning. Disconnect when changing blades.
■ Avoid contacting moving parts.
■ Do not operate any damaged appliance. Do not operate with a
damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, or has
been dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact Consumer
Service for return authorization, examination, repair or electrical
or mechanical adjustment.
■ The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
■ Do not use outdoors or while standing in a damp area.
■ Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
■ Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces, including the stove.
■ Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. Always handle blades with
hand away from cutting edge. Always store blades with cutting
edge away from you and covered with protective sleeve.
■ Do not insert knife blades in any way other than recommended in
these instructions.
■ Do not use Knife for other than intended use.
