Removing The Blades
1. Unplug unit from outlet before removing blades.
2. Carefully grasp the blades (serrated side down) at drip guards.
Press EJECT button and carefully remove blades from Knife.
(See Figure 3.)
CAUTION: ALWAYS REMOVE KNIFE BLADES IN A
DIRECTION AWAY FROM YOUR BODY.
Hints For Best Results
■ Use a carving board to avoid damage to blades and countertops.
As with any sharp knife, the blades will scratch most surfaces.
■ When the meat contains a bone, cut down to the bone, but do
not attempt to cut through it.
■ When slicing, gently guide the Knife through the food. Excessive
sawing or pressure is unnecessary.
■ Use frozen food blades ONLY to cut through frozen food
packages or any other hard foods.
User Maintenance

This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user
serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Contact a
qualified appliance repair technician if the product requires
servicing.
Care and Cleaning Instructions
CAUTION: ALWAYS UNPLUG UNIT BEFORE CLEANING.
NEVER IMMERSE UNIT IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS.
Clean Knife exterior by wiping with a soft damp cloth. The knife
blade sets should be separated before washing. Slide the knob
down to the keyhole and lift apart. Wash stainless steel blades in
hot soapy water. Rinse well and dry thoroughly. Replace the
protective sleeve.
