The shields will protect the finish of the
extension during the rest of the
installation. Once the installation is
complete these shields can be
removed.

Peel off the backing from the tape on
the protective shields.
^ Stick the shields on the sides of the
chimney extension (see illustration).
^ Carefully ease apart the sides of the
chimney and slide it over the
extension. Hook it behind the
extension and both retaining plates.
Hold it high enough to clear the top
of the canopy to avoid scratches.

Slide the chimney down so that it sits
at least

" (1 cm) inside the canopy
and adjust it as necessary.

Pull off the protective shields.
If the chimney is not tall enough an
optional chimney extension can be
ordered. See "Installation/Appliance
dimensions".
