Problem Solution
Make sure you use four full water reservoirs to
complete the descaling procedure: two reservoirs
lled with descaling mixture and two reservoirs
lled with fresh water. You start the two descaling
cycles and the two ushing cycles by pressing the
1-cup button and the 2-cup button at the same time.
If you do not complete the descaling procedure,
scale residues remain behind in the machine. This
causes scale to build up more quickly and may cause
permanent and irreparable damage to the machine.
Do not switch the machine off during the descale
process. If you switch off the machine, you have to
restart the whole descaling procedure.
The light ring
around the
on/off button
continues to
ash rapidly.
Make sure that:
the water reservoir is placed properly;
there is enough water in the water reservoir (i.e.
above the q MIN level if you want to brew 1 cup);
the ambient temperature is not lower than 10°C.
If it is, the machine does not function properly.
Water leaks
from the coffee
machine.
Make sure that:
the water reservoir has not been lled beyond the
MAX level;
