IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
To reduce the risk of personal injury or property damage, when using
electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. To protect against a risk of fire or electric shock, and injury to persons,
do not immerse cord, plugs, or kettle in water or other liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by
or near children.
4. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
5. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner.
Return the appliance to the Authorized Service Station for examination,
repair, or adjustment.
6. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
7. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
8. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
9. Always attach cordset to kettle before attaching plug to wall outlet.
To disconnect, turn control off, remove plug from wall outlet,
then from appliance.
10. Extreme caution must be used when moving kettle containing hot liquids.
11. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
12. Do not use outdoors.
13. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
