Brewing coffee using AUTO operation
1. Place the Stainless Drip Filter on a flat,
level surface.
2. Add water into the drip filter by opening
the water tank lid and filling to the desired
level. The number of cups is clearly
marked on the water gauge. Do not fill
above the maximum 12 cup capacity. We
recommend not preparing less than 4 cups
of coffee at once.
3. Ensure the filter basket holder and
removable mesh filter basket are firmly
positioned into place. Using the supplied
coffee spoon, add the desired amount
of coffee. We recommend two spoons of
ground coffee per cup you are preparing.
Close the water tank lid.
4. Place the empty carafe into position on the
keep warm plate and connect the plug into
a 230/240 Volt AC power outlet. The LCD
will illuminate and display ’12.00’.
5. Set the current time by following steps
3-5 under ‘Setting the current time of day
on the LCD’ on page 5 of this instruction
manual.
6. Once you have set the desired time, press
the PROGRAM button once, and the screen
will display ‘SET TIMER’.
7. Press the HOUR and MIN buttons to select
the time of day you would like to program
your drip filter machine to automatically
start.
8. Once you have set the desired time, press
the ON/AUTO/OFF button twice. The LCD
screen will display the current time, while
the ON/AUTO/OFF button will continue
flashing. This indicates that the appliance
is in auto operation, and is awaiting
the pre-set time to be reached before
commencing the brewing cycle.
9. The ON/AUTO/OFF button will stop flashing
and remain illuminated once the pre-set
time has been reached and the auto
operation brewing cycle has commenced.
Brewing tea
You can also use your Stainless Drip Filter
to brew your favourite tea. Simply follow
the sample steps for when preparing coffee,
however use (4-6) tea bags or teaspoons of
tea instead of coffee in the removable mesh
filter basket. Ensure you remove all traces
of coffee grind in the removable mesh filter
basket before using tea bags as this will
affect the flavour of your tea.
