COOKING
Your microwave oven has 6 convenience pads to assist with meal preparation.
There are some foods in the Breakfast, Lunch, 15 Minute Dinners and Preset
Recipes that use the sensor. See the sensor cooking information on page 19.
For foods not using the sensor, follow the directions in the Interactive Display
to enter quantity.
Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast and Lunch are for cooking and heating popular foods that take a
short amount of time.
• Suppose you want to use Breakfast to cook 2 servings of hot cereal.
Note:
1. Heat rolls/muffins setting has 2 choices. Follow directions in the Interactive
Display to choose desired option.
2. Breakfast can be programmed with More or Less Time Adjustment. Touch
the Power Level pad once or twice before touching Start/Touch On pad.
See page 38.
3. Each food has a cooking hint. Touch Help pad when the HELP indicator is
lighted in the display.
4. Should you attempt to enter more or less than the allowed amount, an error
message will appear in the display.
More or less than the quantity listed in the chart should be cooked follow-
ing the guidelines in any microwave book.
5. The final cooking result will vary according to the food condition (e.g. initial
temperature, shape, quality, covering). Check food for temperature after
cooking. If additional time is needed, continue to cook manually.
