FRU Action
Fuser Lamp The fuser may not be operating at
the proper temperature to fuse the
toner to the paper. Go to the “Cold
Fuser Service Check” on page 2-17.
Paper Make sure recommended paper is
being used.
FRU Action
Toner Cartridge Make sure the toner cartridge is
installed correctly and is not low on
toner. If the problem continues,
install a new toner cartridge.
Transfer Roller
HVPS Contact (Transfer Roller)
HVPS Board
Check the transfer roller for signs of
toner buildup and contamination.
Inspect the HVPS contact (transfer
roller) for contamination. Inspect the
HVPS board for contamination
where it meets the HVPS contacts. If
all components appear free of
contamination, replace the following
FRUs one at a time in the order
shown:
