14. No mode name is displayed. • CheckthattheAdjustmentmenuisnotactive.
15. The auto adjustment function does not
work.
• Thisfunctiondoesnotworkduringdigitalsignalinput.
• ThisfunctionisintendedforuseontheMacintosh
andonAT-compatiblePCrunningWindows.Itdoes
notworkproperlywhenanimageisdisplayedonly
onapartofthescreen(commandpromptwindow,for
example)orwhenablackbackground(wallpaper,etc.)
isinuse.
• Thisfunctiondoesnotworkcorrectlywithsome
graphicsboards.
16. No audio output. • Checkwhetherthestereominijackcableisconnected
properly.
• Checkwhethervolumeissetto0.
• CheckthePCandaudioplaybacksoftwaretosee
whethertheyareconguredcorrectly.
• IfDisplayPortinputisused,checkthe<Source>
settingintheAdjustmentmenu(see“3-2.Switching

17. (When using EcoView Sense)
The images remains to be displayed when
you move away from the monitor. The
images does not reappear when you come
near it.
• Checkthesettingenvironmentofthemonitor.
EcoViewSensemaynotworkcorrectlyinthe
followingenvironments.
- Thereissomethingthatreectsthelightsuchas
mirrororglassinfrontofthesensor.
- Themonitorislocatedinaplacethatreceivedirect
sunlight.
- Thereissomeinfrareddevicenearthemonitor.
- Thereissomeobstacleinfrontofthesensor.
• Checkwhetheranydirtonthesensor.Cleanthe
sensorwithasoftcloth.
• Checkwhetheryouareinfrontofthemonitor.The
infraredrayisemittedverticallyfromthesensorto
detectaperson.
• Checkwhethertheofftimerfunctionison.Ifitison,
themonitorturnsoffautomaticallyafteraspecied
timehaspassed.Therefore,theimagesdoesnot
reappearonthescreeneventhoughyoucomenear
toit.Press
