Display
The computer’s LCD panel supports highresolution video graphics. The
screen can be set at a wide range of viewing angles for maximum comfort
and readability.
Builtin 15.0"XGA/SXGA+TFT screen, 16 M colours, with
the following resolution:
■ XGA, 1024 horizontal × 768 vertical pixels
Graphics controller Graphics controller maximizes display
performance. Refer to Appendix D for more
information.
Keyboard
Builtin 85 keys or 86 keys, compatible with IBM
enhanced keyboard, embedded numeric overlay,
dedicated cursor control, and two Windows
keys. See Chapter 5, The Keyboard, for details.
Pointing device
Builtin Touch pad A Touch pad and control buttons in the palm rest
enable control of the onscreen pointer.
Ports
Parallel Parallel printer or other parallel device (ECP
compatible).
External monitor 15pin, analog VGA port supports VESA DDC2B
compatible functions.
Universal Serial Bus
(USB 2.0)
The computer has four Universal Serial Bus ports
that comply with the USB 2.0 standard, which
enables data transfer speeds 40 times faster
than the USB 1.1 standard. (The ports also
support USB 1.1.)
Slots
PC card The PC card slot accommodates one 5 mm
Type II card.
