Switching off fridge section when freezer section is switched on:
0 Press and hold the “+“ and “-“ buttons for the fridge section at the
same time. There is a “countdown“ from “3“ to “1“, then “OF“ appears in
the temperature display. The fridge section switches itself off.

To switch the fridge section on again, press “+“ or “-“ button.
Switching off fridge section when freezer section is switched off:
0 1. Press and hold the “+“ and “-“ buttons for the fridge section at the
same time. There is a “countdown“ from “3“ to “1“, then “OF“ appears in
the temperature display. The fridge section or the whole appliance
switches itself off.

Before the countdown has been completed, the switch-off procedure
can be cancelled by releasing the “+“ and “-“ buttons.

When the fridge section is switched off, the only operating mode that
can be activated while the freezer section is operating is FROSTMATIC.
Switching off freezer section when fridge switched on:
0 1. Press and hold down the “+“and the “-“ buttons for the freezer section
at the same time. In the temperature display for the freezer section
there is a countdown from “3“ to “1“. Then “OF“ appears in the
temperature display. The freezer section switches itself off.

0 1. Press and hold down the “+“and the “-“ buttons for the freezer section
at the same time. There is a countdown from “3“ to “1“, then “OF“
appears in the temperature display. The freezer section or the whole
appliance switches itself off.

The appliance is only completely disconnected from the electricity
supply when the power plug has been removed from the power outlet.
If the appliance is not to be used for an extended period:
0 1. Switch appliance off by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button (see
above).
2. Remove the mains plug or switch off.
3. Defrost freezer compartment and clean the appliance thoroughly (see
section: "Maintenance and Cleaning").
4. Leave the doors open to avoid accumulation of odours.
