CONVECTIONCOOKING
Bertazzoni gas oven are equipped with a
CONVECTIONfan.
Inconvection mode,thefansituatedattheback
of the oven compartment creates horizontal
forcedair circulation.The advantagesof
convectioncookingare:
1. uniformdistribution of heatthroughout the
oven cavity(meat no longerneeds tobe turned
whileroasting)
2.cookingdifferenttypesoffoodatthesame
time,withoutflavourtransmissionfromonedish
totheother.
Preheating the oven is not necessary. For
delicatepastrybakin g, itisrecommendedtoheat
theovenbeforeinsertingthepastrytrays.
Toactivatetheconvectionfanuse
theselector
placedoncontrolpanel.
COOKINGWITHTHEGASBROILER
WARNING
Alwayskeeptheovendooropenwhenlighting
thegasbroiler.
Thegasbroilerisactivatedwiththesamecontrol
knobusedforsettingtheovente mperature.
To activate the broiler, turn the control knob
clockwisein
thebroilerposition.
Thebroilerburneralwaysoperatesatmaximum
power and therefore there is no temperature
setting.
ELECTRICIGNITION
Warning:Donotusethegasovenorbroilerin
caseofelectricpowerfailure
Opentheovendoor,turntheknobtothebroiler
positionsetting,presswelltheknobfor1sec.
And relase it, the automatic ignition system will
automaticallygeneratethespark
for5seconds
and will engage the termocouple. Then check
that the broiler burner flame is and remain
correctlylit,andclesethedoor.
Donotpressthebroilerknobformorethan2,5
sec.otherwiseautomaticignitionsystemlock
itselfanditwillbenecessarytoretrythewhole
ignition
sequence; if the broiler burner do not
remaincorrectlylitatthefirstattempt,open
the door of theroom and waitat least60 sec.
beforetoretrytoignitethebroilerburner.

quantitativeindicationofthetemperatureinthe
middleoftheleftoven.
