PRESSUREREGULATOR

Sinceservicepressuremayfluctuatewithlocal

demand,everygascookingappliancemustbe

equippedwithapressureregulatoronthe

incomingservicelineforsafeandefficient

operation.

Thepressureregulatorshippedwiththe

appliancehashastwofemalethreads½”NPT.

Theregulatorshallbeinstalled

properlyinorder

tobeaccessiblewhentheapplianceisinstalledin

itsfinalposition.



Manifoldpressureshouldbecheckedwitha

manometerandcomplywiththevaluesindicated

below:

Naturalgas4.0"W.c.P.

LP/Propane11.0"W.C.P.

Incominglinepressureupstreamfromthe

regulatormustbe1"W.c.P.higherthanthe

manifoldpressureinordertocheckthe

regulator.

Theregulatorusedon

thisrangecanwithstanda

maximuminputpressureof1/2PSI(14.0"W.c.P.)

Ifthelinepressureexceedsthatamount,astep‐

downregulatorisrequired.

The appliance, its individual shut‐off valve, and

the pressure regulator must be disconnected

from the gas line during any pressure testing of

that system

 at pressures in excess of 1/2 psig

(3.45kPa).

The individuaLmanual shut‐offvalve must bein

the OFF position during any pressure testing of

the gas supply piping system at test pressures

equaltoorlessthan½psig(3.45kPa).


