TROUBLESHOOTING SUGGESTIONS
SUGGESTED REMEDY
Check power supply cord
Check / reset circuit breaker
Set for desired temperature
Allow to cool hi-limit will self-
reset
Examine wiring & connectors,
controller, water level probe and
heating element
Repair/replace as needed
Program volume keys
Use one (1) genuine Bloomfield
filter per brew
Thoroughly clean brew
chamber
Use correct grind and amount
of coffee
Program vol. key for pulse brew
Check/reinstall gasket on
INSIDE of brew head
Clean spray disk
Check keypad, controller, and
pump
Repair, replace as needed
Turn water supply ON
Clean strainer
Replace filter element
Check controller and water level
probe
Check solenoid and switch
Repair/replace as needed
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Brewer unplugged or circuit
breaker tripped
Temperature setpoint too low
Hi-Limit safety switch tripped
Damaged internal component
or wiring
Volume keys not programmed
Too many filter papers or wrong
filter paper
Brew chamber dispense hole
plugged
Too much coffee or too fine a
grind
Not using pulse brew feature
Spray gasket improperly
installed
Spray disk plugged

SYMPTOM
Water won’t heat
Coffee level too high or low
Brew chamber overflows
Sprays water from brew head
No brew (faucet flows OK)
No brew plus no flow from hot
water faucet
No flow from hot water faucet
(brew OK)
Poor coffee quality
Keep brewer and airpots clean.
Install optional taste and odor filter, and replace cartridges
regularly.
Use a quality coffee with a consistent roast. Use proper grind
and amount of coffee per brew.
