3. If a long detachable power-supply
cord or extension cord is used:
a. The marked electrical
rating of the detachable
power-supply cord or
extension cord should
be at least as great as
the electrical rating of the
appliance
b. If the appliance is of
the grounded type, the
extension cord should be
a grounding-type 3-wire
cord; and
c. The longer cord should
be arranged so that it
will not drape over the
counter top or table top
where it can be pulled
on by children or tripped
over.
Grounding Instructions
This appliance must be grounded
while in use.
CAUTION: To ensure continued
protection against risk of electric
shock, connect to properly ground
outlets only.
Voltage Selector
1. This kettle was set at the factory
to 120V.
2. Make sure the kettle is unplugged
and empty prior to changing
voltage.
3. Turn the kettle over and locate the
voltage selector.
4. Use a athead screwdriver to turn
the voltage selector, aligning with
the voltage that is appropriate for
your location.
5. When you change the voltage,
you will hear a click.

For use in the USA and Canada,
the voltage selector should be
placed in the 120V position. For
use in several countries overseas,
the voltage selector may need to
be placed in the 220
-240
V
position.
Confirm the voltage
available at each overseas
location before using the
appliance.

configuration for the power supply
