Dishwasher detergent iscorrosive! Take care tokeepit out
ofreach of children.
IFTHE WATER ISN'T TOO HARD, YOU MAY ALSO PREVENT THE FORMATIONOF DEPOSITSBY ADDING DETERGENT.
The amountof detergentneeded can vary dueto differencesin waterhardness. To determine thewater hardness in yourarea,
contact your local water utilityor area water softeningcompany. Theharder the water, the more detergentyou may need.
Remember,you should adjust the amount ofdetergentyouuse by small amounts until you find the correctamount.
To remove hard water spots, try the following:
Run dishes through a normal wash program.
Removeall metal dishware,suchascutlery, pans,etc.,
from the dishwasher.
Do not add detergent.
Pourtwo cupsof vinegar into abowlandset the bowl face
up on the lower rack ofthedishwasher.
Runthedishes througha normalwashprogram.
If this doesn't work, try the same process with 1 /4 cup of
citric acid crystals instead of vinegar.
Use only detergent specifically made for use in dishwashers.
Keep your detergent fresh and dry. Don't put powder detergent
into the dispenser until You're ready to wash dishes.
Therinse aidis releasedduring the final rinse toprevent water
fromforming dropletson your dishesthatcanleavespotsand
streaks. It also improves drying by allowing water to "sheet" off
the dishes.
Your dishwashers are designed to use liquid rinse aids. The
rinse aiddispenseris locatedinside the door next tothe
detergentdispenser. To fill the dispenser,openthe cap and
pour therinse aidintothe dispenser until the level indicator
turns completely black.The dispenser holds about 100 ml of
liquid rinse aid.
Becareful notto overfill thedispenser, becausethiscould
cause oversudsing. Wipe away any spills with a damp cloth.
Don't forget to replace the cap beforeyou close the dishwasher
door.
If you have soft water, you may not need rinse aid for it may
cause awhitefilmto develop onyourdishes.

HAVE SPECIALLY-DESIGNED WATER SOFTENERS.
The dispensermust be refilled beforethe start of each wash cyclefollowingthe instructions provided inthe"WashCycle
Table".Yourdishwashers than conventional dishwashers. Generally, only one tablespoon of
detergentis needed for anormalwashload. Also, more heavily soiled itemsneed more detergent. Always add the detergent just
before startingdishwasher,otherwiseit could get damp and will notdissolve properly.

To open the dispenser, turn the cap to the "open" (left)
arrowandlift itout.
Pour therinse aidintothe dispenser, beingcareful not to
overfill.
Replace the cap by inserting it aligned with "open" arrow
and turning it to the closed (right) arrow.
A measured amount of rinse aid isreleased duringthefinal rinse.Aswithdetergent, the amount
ofrinse aid neededfor your dishes depends on the hardness of the waterin your area. Toomuch
rinse aid can result in lather offoaming and cause cloudinessor steaks on your dishes.If the
water in your area isvery soft, you may notneed rinse aid.If youdo,you can dilutethe rinseaid
with anequal amount of water.
The rinse aid dispenser has six settings. Always start withthe dispenser set on" 1 ". If spots and
poor dryingare problems, increasetheamount of rinse aiddispensed byremoving thedispenser
lid androtating the dial to "2".If the dishesstill are notdrying properly or are spotted, adjust the
dial to the next higher numberuntilyour dishes are spot-free. We suggest you to set on "4" .
(If only four settingswe suggest you toset on"2".)
