INSTALLATION
Unpacking
Unpack the cabinet an d check that it
is in good condition and free of any
transport damage. N otify the dealer
immediately of an y damage. Hand the
packaging over for recycling. For more
information, contact your local council
or the dealer.
Do not allow children to play with the
packaging. The plastic film can cause
suffocation.
Remove the transport supports
Remove the transport supports placed
along t he door sides.
Some models are fitted with a silencin g
pad u n der the cabinet. Do not remove
this pad.
Cleaning
Wash the inside of the cabinet using
lukewarm water, a mild washing-up
detergentandasoftcloth.
Connecting the water hose.
The water coupling is connected to a
water tap with an external 3/4 inch
thread.
This work is to be carried out b y a
skilled plumbing in stallation technician.
The refrigerator is to be connected
with a shut-off cock. There are different
type-approved taps and tap
assemblies on the market.
The water hose must not be cracked,
squeezed or be in tight bends.
If you require a longer water hose than
that supplied, then a VDE-approved
150 38 85-02/0 s upply hose should be
used.
Before the refrigerator is taken into use
in its fin al location, ensure that the
water connection has been correctly
carried out, that there is no leakage at
the connection to the refrigerator water
valve or to the water tap, and that the
four spacers are properly in position,
