Thehoodcanbeinstalledinanuppercabinet
without abase.Refer to Fig. 15 fordimensions.
Ifnocorrespondingcabinetisavailable,remove the
basefromacommerciallyavailablecabinet.
Theuppercabinetmusthave a minimum depth of
295mm(1113/32")(clearwidthofinterior) and a
minimumheightof450mm(1723/32").
Usingtheincludedscrews,fittheretaining
brackets on the inside of the suspendedcabinet
(Fig.17).Theretainingbracketsmustbemounted
flushwiththebottom and frontedgesofthecabinet
atadistanceof33mm(13/10”).
Usingthesidemountingrails, placethehoodonthe
pre-fittedretainingbracketsandslideittowardsthe
rear intothecabinet(Fig.18).Thescreenslideis
thenflushwiththebottomedgeofthe cabinet.
Laterally align the hood. Use the included sheet
metalsscrewstoboltdowntheretainingbracket
andthemountingrail on the left and right.
ThenfittheincludedplasticCoversontothe
mountingrails. Use aknifetocuttheplasticcovers
to size if upper cabinetsmeasure55cm(215/8”)in
widthorifcabinetshave a wall thickness of more
than16mm(5/8”).
$ CAUTION:Usecarewhencuttingthespace
rail and cover sizeto prevent personalinjury.
Cuttheincludedspacerrail to size so that it
bridgesthedistancebetween the rear edge of the
hoodandthewall behind it.
Remove the lamp Cover (seeLampreplacement)
andboltthespacerrail to the rear panel of the unit.
Laytheairpipesandconnectthe unit to the power
mains.
