rinse and dry.
Broiler Rn & Wck
After broiling, remove the broiler
raclc and carefully pour off the
grease. Wash and rinse the pan
and rack in hot, soapy water.
If food has burned on, sprinkle
the broiler rack while hot with
detergent and cover with wet paper
towelsor a dishcloth.Thatway,
burned-onfoodswillsoakloose
whilethemealisbeingserved.
Donotstorea soiledbroilerpan
andrackin theovenor broiler
compartment.
SOven LightBulb
Replacement
Beforereplacing any light bulb,
disconnectelectric power to the
rangeat the main fuse or circuit
breakerpanel.
Letthe bulbcool
completelybeforeremovingit. Do
nottoucha hotbulbwithadamp
cioth—thebulbwillbreak.
Thelightbulbinyourovenis
locatedinthe upperrightcorner.
Reachinandunscrewit aller taking
precautionsmentionedabove.
Replaceit witha high-temperature
appliancebulbofthesamewattage.

Thetemperaturecontrolinyour
newovenhasbeencarefullyadjusted
toprovideaccuratetemperatures.
However,ifthisovenhasreplaced
oneyouhaveusedforseveralyears,
youmaynoticea differenceinthe
degreeofbrowningorthelength
oftimerequiredwhenusingyour
favoriterecipes.Oventemperature
controlshavea tendencyto “drift”
overaperiodofyearsandsince
thisdriftisverygradual,itisnot
readilynoticed.Therefore,you
mayhavebecomeaccustomedto
yourpreviousovenwhichmay
haveprovideda higheror lower
temperaturethanyouselected.
Beforeattemptingto havethe
temperatureofyournewoven
changed,besureyouhavefollowed
thebakingtimeandtemperatureof
therecipecarefhlly.Then,after
youhaveusedtheovena fewtimes
andyoufeeltheovenistoohot
or toocool,thereis a simple
adjustmentyoucanmakeyourself
ontheOVENTEMPknob.
Pulltheknoboffthecontrolshaft
andlookat thebackside.Thereis
a discinthecenteroftheknobskirt
witha seriesofnotchesontheimer
edgenexttotheknobshafl.Oneof
thesenotchesispositionedovera
pointeronthesideoftheknobshaft.
Note position of
pointer to notches
before adjustment

Loosen only the
locking screws
Notewhichnotchthepointeris
locatedin.Tbmakeanadjustment,
carefullyloosen(approximately
oneturn), butdonotcompletely
removethetwoscrewsthatholdthe
skirttotheknob.Holdtheknobin
onehandandwiththeotherhand
carefullytilttheskirtuntilthenotch
inthediscclearsthepointeronthe
knobshaft.
Tomisetheoventemperature,turn
the
dial inthedirectionofthe
arrowfor “Raise~’Tolowerthe
temperature,turnthe
dial inthe
directionof arrowfor“Lower~’
Eachnotchwillchangetheoven
temperatureapproximately25°E
Wesuggestthatyoumakethe
adjustmentonenotchfromthe
originalsettingandcheckoven
performancebeforemakingany
additionaladjustments.
Aftertheadjustmentismade,make
surethepointerontheknobshaft
isalignedwiththenotchinthedisc.
Pressskirtandknobtogetherand
retightenscrewssotheyaresnug,
butbecarefulnottoovertighten.
Re-installknobonrangeand
checkperformance.Note:After
an adjustmenthasbeenmadethe
“Off” and “Broil”positionswill
notlineup withtheindicatormark
onthecontrolpanelasthey
previouslydid.Thiscondition
isnormalandwillnotcreate
a problem.
