PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE
BURNERS DO NOT • Make sure electrical plug is plugged into a live power outlet.
LIGHT OR SPARK
• Burner parts not replaced correctly.
RANDOMLY
• Slits in the burner heads may be clogged.
BURNERS HAVE • Burner parts not replaced correctly. See the sealed burner assemblies
YELLOW OR section.
YELLOW-TIPPED • The combustion quality of burner flames needs to be determined
FLAMES visually.
• If burner flames look like (A), call for service. Normal burner flames
should look like (B) or (C), depending on the type of gas. With LP
gas, some yellow tipping on outer cones is normal.
BURNER FLAMES • Cooktop may be connected to wrong fuel type. Contact the person who
VERY LARGE installed your cooktop or made the conversion.

BURNER CONTROL • When the knob is at the OFF position, it must be pushed down before
