SPOTS AND FILMING
Spottingcan be causedby allthesethings:

~ Old or damp detergent.

Due to varyinglocalwater conditionsand personalpreferences,try several
brands of detergentsto find one that givesthe bestresultsfor you.
To removespots and film from
glassware:
1. Removeall metalutensilsfrom the dishwasher.
2. Do not add detergent.
3. SelectPower Scrubcycle.
4. Start the dishwasherand allowto run for 15to 20 minutes.The
dishwasherwillnow be in the main wash.
5. Then open the door and pour 2 cups (500ml)of whitevinegarinto the
bottom of the dishwasher.
6. Closethe door and allowto completethe cycle.
If vinegar rinse doesn’t work: Repeat as above, exceptuse % cup (60ml)
of citricacidcrystalsinstead of vinegar.(Mostdrug storescarry citricacid
crystals.If yours doesn’t, callHotpoint Factory Service.)
