Teaor coffeecan stain cups. Removethe stainsby hand, usinga solution
of 1/2cup bleachand 3 cupswarm water.
An overallyellowor brown filmon dishesor glasswarecan be causedby
iron depositsin water.A specialfilter inthe water supplyline is the only
wayto correct thisproblem. Yourwater softenercompany can tellyou
about the filter.
Yellowfilmon sterlingsilverresultswhenyou washcopperutensilsin the
sameload. Silverpolishwillusuallyremovethis stain,
Rough handlingcan causechipping.Load with care. Make sureglassware
and china are secureand can’tjar loose. Make suretall glassesand

Checkthe kitchensink. Is it draining well?Youmay need a plumber.
If dishwasherdrains into disposer,run disposerto clear.Besure disposeris
not clogged.

AUTOMATIC DISHWASHERDETERGENTS TO AVOID SUDSING.

suds from the tub: Open the dishwasher.Let suds evaporate.
Add 1gallonof coldwater to the tub. Closeand latch the dishwasher.
Pump out water by slowlyturning the control dial untila drain period is
reached.
Repeat, if necessary.
Sudscan causeunit to overflow.That’s whyit’sso important to use a
detergentthat’s designedfor automatic dishwashers.
Spillingthe rinseagent can causefoam duringwashing.This can lead to
overflowing.(Page 6 tellsyou howto cleanaccidental spillsof rinse
agents.)
