13.16 Resetting products to factory settings
Ⅲ Possibilities are provided to enable you to reset Espresso and
coffee products to the factory settings.
Ⅲ With draw-off buttons 1 Espresso and 1 Coffee, the following
parameters can be reset: coffee strength, amount of water, tem-
perature.
Ⅲ With draw-off buttons 2 Espressi and 2 Coffees, the following
parameters can be reset: amount of water, temperature.
Ⅲ To reset the buttons, with your IMPRESSA in Standby mode and
with the power switched ON, press the rotary switch and the
draw-off button that you wish to reset simultaneously and hold
them down until the display shows

14. Maintenance
14.1 Filling the water tank
Ⅲ FILL
WATER TANK
If this information is displayed, the machine will no longer
make coffee. Refill water as described in Chapter 2.3.
Ⅲ SELECT PRODUCT
The water tank should be rinsed out and filled with fresh
water daily. Always use fresh, cold water. Never fill the
water tank with milk, mineral water or other liquids.
14.2 Emptying the coffee grounds

GROUNDS
If this information is displayed, the machine will no longer
make coffee. However, the machine will still dispense hot
water and steam. Empty the coffee grounds bin (26).
Ⅲ Carefully take out the drip tray (1) - which contains water - and
the integrated coffee grounds bin.

MISSING
Ⅲ Place the empty, clean drip tray (1) and integrated coffee
grounds bin back into the IMPRESSA. (The tray must be re-
moved from the machine for at least 10 seconds).
