Confirm "Start".
It is only possible to cancel the descaling process during the
first few minutes (before the $ lights up). After that the
process cannot be cancelled.
Do not switch the appliance off during the descaling
process. If it is switched off before the end of the process,
the whole process will have to be started from the
beginning again.
After 12 minutes, the appliance will prompt you to fill it with
fresh water.

Please rinse the water container out and
refill with 1 litre of fresh water
^ Remove the water container and empty it. Remove the
insert.

Rinse the water container and the insert thoroughly.
^
Replace the insert and fill the water container with 1 litre of
water. Push the water container into the appliance until it
connects.

Confirm "Start".
After descaling:

Open the door.
^
Remove the water container and empty it.
^
Switch the appliance off, and then dry it thoroughly.
