The timer can be used to time an
activity separate from the oven.
To set the timer

Press the "Timer" button.

Enter the desired time in hours and
minutes (1 min. - 23 hrs. 59 mins.)
with the "+" button.
When the "+/–" indicator light goes out,
the time set starts counting down in
minutes.
If the oven is also being used, the timer
time period will only show for a short
time. Then the oven or probe core tem-
perature will appear again in the dis-
play. The "l" symbol will continue to be
visible as a reminder that the timer is
working.
At the end of the timed period:
–
a tone sounds for 5 seconds.
–
the "l" symbol will flash for 1 minute.
The tone and the flashing symbol can
be cancelled by pressing the "Timer"
button.
To cancel the timer

Press the "Timer" button.
^ Use the "–" button to set the timer to
"0:00".
