To switch the hob on

Touch the s sensor.
0 will appear in each of the cooking zone displays. If no
further entry is made, the hob will switch itself off after a few
seconds for safety reasons.
Setting and altering the power level
^
Touch the appropriate number on the numerical keypad of
the cooking zone you wish to use.
The selected power level is shown in the cooking zone
display.
PowerFlex cooking area
All the rear cooking zones can be combined with the ones in
front of them to form a PowerFlex cooking area. The cooking
area is operated by the front cooking zone and the = symbol
appears in the display for the rear cooking zone.
