Clean the appliance door with a
proprietary glass cleaner.
Ventilation gaps
^
The ventilation gaps should be
cleaned on a regular basis with a
brush or vacuum cleaner. A build-up
of dust will increase the energy
consumption of the appliance.
Door seal
Do not use any oils or grease on the
door seal as these will cause the
seal to deteriorate and become
porous over time.
^ The door seal should be cleaned
regularly with clean water, and then
wiped dry with a soft cloth.
Active charcoal filter
Replace the active charcoal filters at
regular intervals, or if you notice
unpleasant odours in the appliance.
Replacement filters are available
from Miele.
^ Remove cover a from over the filter.
Use a screwdriver to ease it off if
necessary.
^ Remove the used filter b, and
replace with the new active charcoal
filter.
^ Refit the cover a.
After cleaning
^
Replace all shelves and accessories
in the appliance.
^
Reconnect to the mains and switch
the appliance back on.
^
Place the wine bottles back in the
appliance and close the door.
