5. Make sure the decanter is empty before starting
to brew coffee.
6. Be sure to turn your coffeemaker off when no
longer using it.
The Fresh Brew™ Timer Feature
(on FTX20/FTX23/FTX25/FTX26,
FTXSS20/FTXSS23/FTXSS26 only)
The FRESH BREW™ TIMER feature counts up from
the moment the brewing cycle starts up to 2 hours.
At the start of the brew cycle, the FRESH BREW
TIMER feature will automatically be activated and
the clock display will change to display 30, 60, 90
and 120 minute indicators. Every two minutes,
incremental segments of the FREW BREW TIMER
will begin to darken as an indication of how long
the coffee has been waiting for you.
Press the FRESH BREW™ TIMER button once for the
display to go back to the clock function (while on
the clock mode, the FRESH BREW™ TIMER feature
will keep counting). Press it again to go back to the
FRESH BREW™ TIMER display. The display will
automatically change back to the clock after 2
hours or when the unit is turned off.
NOTE: The BREW NOW green light must be on for
the FRESH BREW™ TIMER feature to operate. The
time and delay brew time cannot be set when the
fresh brew time is displayed.
BREWING COFFEE LATER

1. You must first set the time for when you would like
the coffeemaker to begin brewing your coffee as
described in “Setting the Clock and the Delay
Brew Timer” section.
2. Prepare your coffeemaker as described in “Adding
Water and Ground Coffee” section.

Añadiendo Agua y Café Molido
1. Levante y abra la tapa de la canasta del
filtro. Para su conveniencia, usted
puede sacar la canasta removible del
filtro.
2. Inserte un filtro de papel para 10-12
tazas marca MR. COFFEE
®
o un filtro
permanente marca MR. COFFEE
®
en la
canasta removible del filtro (Figura 5).
ADVERTENCIA: Si utiliza filtros de
papel, es importante que los lados del
filtro queden lisos contra las paredes
de la canasta del filtro. Si se está
colapsando el filtro, humedézcalo
antes de colocarlo en la canasta del
filtro y añadir café molido y agua.
