4. À l’heure choisie, le témoin DELAY BREW (infusion différée) s’éteindra et la
cafetière commencera à infuser le café.
5. Le signal sonore de café prêt émet trois bips pour signaler que l’infusion est
terminée. La cafetière se met automatiquement hors tension au bout de deux heures
durant lesquelles le témoin d’infusion seulement reste allumé.
6. Par mesure de sécurité, la cafetière ne se mettra automatiquement en marche le
lendemain que si vous réglez DELAY BREW en répétant les directives 1 et 2 ci-haut.
REMARQUE: Par mesure de sécurité, la cafetière s’éteint automatiquement si
son couvercle est ouvert durant le broyage ou l’infusion. En ce cas, vous devez
recommencer le cycle de broyage en appuyant une fois sur le bouton SELECT ou
bien en appuyant deux fois sur SELECT pour recommencer le cycle d’infusion.
Entretien de la cafetière
Élimination de l’incrustation calcaire qui se dépose dans la cafetière
Vous pouvez détartrer la cafetière au vinaigre.
1. Versez 4 tasses/20 oz US ou 600 mL de
vinaigre blanc non dilué dans le réservoir.
2. Placez un filtre papier circulaire vide de format 8 à 12 tasses, ou bien un filtre
permanent, dans le porte-filtre, puis fermez le couvercle de la cafetière.
3. P
osez alors la verseuse vide sur la plaque chauffante, en ayant soin de la centrer
parfaitement sous le panier-filtre.
4. Laissez filtrer 3 tasses/425 mL du vinaigre.
5. Éteignez la cafetière et laissez-la reposer pendant 30 minutes.
6. Faites filtrer le reste de la solution.
7. Jetez la solution puis rincez la verseuse à fond, à l’eau claire.
8. Sortez et jetez le filtre papier utilisé pour le détartrage. Si vous utilisiez un filtre
permanent, sortez-le et rincez-le à fond.
9. Remplissez le réservoir d’eau froide du robinet.
10. Replace
z la verseuse vide sur la plaque chauffante, en ayant soin de la centrer
parfaitement sous le panier-filtre.
11. Mettez la cafetière en marche et faites-lui subir un cycle complet.
12. Répétez les instructions de 8 à 11 une fois de plus.
Votre cafetière est maintenant détartrée et prête une fois de plus à entrer en service!

4. At the desired brewing time, the DELAY BREW light will turn off and the
coffeemaker will begin brewing the coffee.
5. The Audible Ready Signal will beep three times when the brew cycle is complete.
The coffeemaker will automatically turn off after two hours. The BREW ONLY
light will remain on during this time.
6. This coffeemaker will NOT start again automatically the next day. To reset DELAY
BREW, repeat Steps 1 through 2 above.
NOTE: For your safety, if the lid is opened during the grind or brew cycle, the
coffeemaker will turn itself off. If this happens, you must restart the grind cycle by
pressing the SELECT button once or restart the brew cycle by pressing the SELECT
button twice.
Maintaining Your Coffeemaker
To Clean Mineral Deposits from your Coffeemaker
Your coffeemaker may be cleaned by using vinegar.
1. Pour 4 cups or 20 fl. oz. of undiluted, white household vinegar into the water
reservoir.
2. Place an empty 8–12 cup basket-style paper or permanent filter into the filter
basket and close.
3. Place the empty decanter back in the unit, centered under the brew basket.
4. Brew three cups of vinegar through the coffeemaker.
5. Turn the coffeemaker off and let stand for 30 minutes.
6. Run the remainder of the vinegar through the coffeemaker.
7. Discard the cleaning solution and rinse the decanter thoroughly with clean water.
8. Remove and discard the filter used during the cleaning cycle. If a permanent filter
was used during the cleaning, remove it and rinse it thoroughly.
9. Fill the water reservoir with clean, fresh water.
10. Place the empty decanter back on the coffeemaker, centered under the brew basket.
11. Begin brewing and allow the full brew cycle to complete.
12. Repeat Steps 8 through 11 one more time.
Your coffeemaker is now clean and ready to brew the next pot of delicious, hot coffee!
