TAPPAN, THROUGH iTS AUTHORIZED
SERVICERS, WILL:
Pay ell costs for repairing or replacing any parts of this
appliance which prove to he defective in materials or
workmanship.
Provide a replacement for any defective surface heating
element, deteriorated rubberlzed-silicone seal, or glass
smoothtop that breaks due to thermal breakage.

Costsof servicecalls that are listed under NORMAL
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONSUMER.*
Diagnostic costsand any transportation and labor
costswhich are required because of service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
OF THE CONSUMER
This warranty applies only to products in ordinary household use, and the consumer is responsible for the items listed
below:
1. Proper use of the appliance inaccordance with instructions provided with the product.
2. Proper installation byanauthorized servicerin accordancewith instructions provided with the applianceand in accordance
with all local plumbing, electrical and/or gas codes.
3. Properconnection toa grounded power supplyof sufficient voltage, replacement of blown fuses,repairof looseconnections
or defects in housewiring,
4. Expensesfor making the applianceaccessiblefor servicing,suchasremoval of trim, cupboards, shelves,etc,, which are not
a part of the appliance when it was shipped from the factory.
5. Damagesto finish after installation.
6. Replacement of light bulbs and/or fluorescent tubes (on models with thesefeatures).
EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover the following:
1. CONSEQUENTIALORINCIDENTALDAMAGESSUCHAS PROPER_'DAMAGE AND INCIDENTALEXPENSESRESULTINGFROM
ANY BREACHOFTHIS WRITTENORANY IMPUED WARRANTY.

2. Servicecalls which do not involvemalfunction or defects inworkmanship or material, or for appliances not in ordinary

3. Damagescaused byservicesperformed bypersonsotherthan authorized Tappan servicers;useof parts otherthan Frigidaire
CornpanyGenuine RenewalParts;obtained from personsother than suchservicers;orexternal causessuchasabuse, misuse,
inadequate power supply or acts of God.
4. Productswith original serial numbers that have been removed or altered and cannot be readily determined,
