China Crystal Cycle
Rinse & Hold Cycle
A light wash and gentle dry for china and crystal.
Unless AIR DRY is selected, the heating element
cycles on and off during the “dry” part of the cycle.
Cycle time** is about 60 minutes plus the time
needed to heat the water if the HI-TEMP WASH
option is selected.
For rinsing a few items to be washed one or more
days later. Cycle time is about 15 minutes. Use
AIR DRY only. Do not use detergent. Do not use
HI-TEMP WASH option.

What happens in each option
Hi-Temp Wash
When this option is selected, water for the main
wash and the final rinse is heated to 145°F (63%).
If water is already hot enough, the cycle
continues without delay. The WATER HEATING
Signal Light will be on while the cycle delays for
water heating.

Air Dry
Air in the dishwasher is automatically heated
during the “dry” part of all cycles except RINSE
8 HOLD.
If the AIR DRY Option is selected, air in the
dishwasher is not heated. Using this option helps
save energy, but dishes take longer to dry (over-
night) and some water spotting may result. Some
items (such as plastics) may need towel drying.
For best results, use a liquid rinse aid such as
Jet-Dry.@
