No. If you remove or turn over the turntable,
you will get poor cooking results. Dishes
used in your oven must fit on the turntable.
You can use a rack only if rack is supplied
with your microwave oven. Use of any rack
not supplied with the microwave oven can
result in poor cooking performance and/
or arcing.
Useable metal includes aluminum foil for
shielding (use small, flat pieces), small
skewers and shallow foil travs (if trav is
% inch deep and filled with iooi to absorb
microwave energy). Never allow metal to
touch walls or door. (For more information,
see page 46.)
Yes. The turntable rotates clockwise or
counterclockwise, depending on the
rotation of the motor when the cooking
cycle begins.
This appearance is normal and does not
affect the operation of your oven.
You hear the sound of the transformer
when the magnetron tube cycles on.
As the food becomes hot it will conduct the
heat to the dish. Be prepared to use hot
pads to remove food after cooking.
‘Standing time” means that food should be
taken out of the oven and covered for
additional time after cooking. This process
Alows the cooking to finish, saves energy
and frees the oven for another purpose.
Yes. Pop packaged microwave popcorn
‘ollowing manufacturer’s guidelines or use
:he preprogrammed Popcorn pad. Do not
Jse regular paper bags. Use the “listening
:est” by stopping the oven as soon as the
lopping slows to a “pop” every one or two
seconds. Do not try to repop unpopped
(ernels. You can also use special micro-
Nave poppers. When using a popper, be
sure to follow manufacturer’s directions. Do
