Ifyoa need service or assistance,
we suggest you follow these four steps:

Before calling for assistance.. .
Performance problems often result from
little things you can find and fix yourself with-
out tools of any kind.
It nothlng operates:
l
Is the oven correctly plugged into a
live circuit with the proper voltage?
(See page 2.)
l
Have You checked the main fuse or circuit
breaker box?
If the mlcrowave oven will not run:
l
Is the timer set?
l
Is the Control Panel Switch ON? (See
page 5.1
l
Is the door firmly closed and latched?
l
Did you touch START?
l
Did you follow the directions exactly?
If the mlcrowave oven has been stored In a
cold area:
l
Allow it to stand for 20 to 30 minutes at room
temperature before operating the controls.
It mlcrowave cooklng times seem too long:
l
Is the electric supply to your home low or
lower than normal? Your electric company
can tell you if the line voltage is low.
l
Is the Cook Power at the recommended
setting?
l
Are you allowing for more time when cook-
ing more food at one time?
It the display shows a tlme counting down
but the oven Is not cooklng...
l
Is the Minute Timer Signal Light on?
l
Is the oven door closed completely?
l
Is the oven in a standing time between
DEFROST CYCLE and COOK CYCLE I? (See
page 12.)
If the fan seems to be runnlng slower than
usual...
l
Has the oven been stored In a cold area?
The fan will run slower until the oven
warms up to normal room temperature.
It there has
been a power
InterruptIon or It
the Control Panel ON/OFF Swttch has been
turned OFF
and then CN agaln, the Display
will show
B&88. Touch CANCEL or touch In
cooklng Instructlons.
If the mlcrowave oven turns ott too soon or
not soon enough when uslng the probe:
l
Is at least J/3 of the probe in the food?
l
Is the probe tlp in the center of the food?
l
Is the probe touching bone or fat?
l
Have you allowed roasts to stand for a few
minutes after cooking?
l
Is the probe plugged tightly into Its socket?
l
Is the Cook Power set where it should be?
l
Is the Cook Temperature set at the end tem-
perature you want?
