Ifyou need service or assistance,
we suggest you follow these four steps:

. Before calling for assistance.. .
Performance problems often result from
little things you can find and fix yourself with-
out tools of any kind.
If nothlng operates:
. Is the oven correctly plugged InlO a
live clrcult with the proper voltage?
(Seepage 2)
. Have you checked the main fuse or circuit
breaker box?
If the microwave oven will not run:
l
Is the timer set?
l
Is the Control Panel Switch ON? (See
page 5-l
l
Is the door firmly closed and latched?
. Did you touch START’,
. Did you follow the directions exactly?
If the microwave oven has been stored in a
cold area:
l
Allow it to stand for 20 to 30 minutes at room
temperature before operating the controls.
If microwave cooking times seem too long:
l
Is the electric supply to your home low or
lower lhan normal? Your electric company
can tell you If the line voltage is low
l
Is the Cook Power at the recommended
setting?
l
Are you allowing for more time when cook-
1ng more food al one time?
It the display shows a time counting down
but the oven is not cooking...
. Is the Minute Timer Signal Light on3
l
Is the oven door closed completely?
l
Is the oven in a standing time between
DEFROST CYCLE and COOK CYCLE 17 (See
page9 I
If you do not hear the Programmlng Tone
(page 19):
- Is the command correct?
- Has the tone been cancelled’
If the fan seems to be runnlng slower thar
usual...
l
Has the oven been stored In a cold arec
The fan will run slower until the oven
warms up to normal room temperature
It there has been a power lnterruptlon or
the Control Panel ON/OFF Switch has bet
turned OFF and then ON agaln, the Dlspla
will show 88:88. Touch CANCEL or touch in
cooking instructions.
If the microwave oven turns off too soon c
not soon enough when using the probe:
l
Is at least 3 of the probe in the food?
l
Is the probe tip in the center of the food7
l
Is the probe touching bone or fat7
l
Have you allowed roasts to stand for a 1~
minutes after cooking?
l
Is the probe plugged tightly into its sock
l
Is the Cook Power set where it should be
. Is the Cook Temperature set at the end tr
perature you want7
l
Do you have the correct probe for your
oven? See page 16.
