Cooking with the Temperature Probe
When the Cook cycle ends, “End” will
show on the Display and 4 beeps will
sound. (You can stop the beeping by
opening the door or by touching
CANCEL.) “End” will remain on the
Display and a reminder tone will
sound every 60 seconds until the
door is opened or CANCEL is touched.
The Display will then show the time
of day.
The Temperature Probe helps take guesswork out of cooking roasts and larger
casseroles. The probe is designed to turn off the oven when it senses the temperature
you choose between 90°F and 200°F See your MICRO MENUS Cookbook for helpful
information in cooking different types of food.

5. Touch Number Pads for the
desired final tempemture
between 90°F and 200°F.

Touch COOK POWER.
(Option: Skip to Step 8 if you
want to use HIGH power.)

oven and plug the
probe into the
socket on the oven
wall.
THIS HAPPENS...

Make sure the
probe and probe
cable do not touch
any part of the
oven interior. Close
the door.
The PROBE TEMP Indicator Light
will come on and the Display will
show “F ”
The Display will show the numbers
you touched in the order you
touched them. This example shows
a final cooked temperature of
about 140°F
The COOK POWER Indicator Light will
come on and the Display will show
“P-HI!’ This shows the oven is pre-
programmed to cook at full (HIGH)
power.
