Most griddled foods require cooking
on a preheated surface. Preheat griddle
according to the guide below, then switch
to the desired cook setting.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
■ Avoid cooking extremely greasy foods and
be careful of grease spillover while cooking.
■ Do not use oil on the griddle for extended
lengths of time. Permanent staining and/or
craze lines on the surface could result.
■ Never place or store any items on the
griddle, even when it is not in use. The
griddle can become heated when using
the surrounding burners.
■ Do not overheat the griddle. Leaving the
griddle burner on at HI for an extended
amount of time without food can damage
the non-stick coating.
■ Avoid using metal utensils with sharp points
or rough, sharp edges that might damage
the griddle surface.
■ Do not cut foods on the griddle.
