When tile cooktop is cool, use only CEILCMA
BRYTE _ Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner and the
CER?dMA BRYTE" Cleaning Pad to clean the
cooktop.
To avoid possible damage to the cooking
surti_ce, do not apply tile cleaning cream to
the glass surtace when it is hot.
After cleaning, use a dry cloth or paper towel
to remove all tile cleaning cream residue.
Read and tollow all inst_ uctions and warnings
on tile cleaning cream labels.
Do not operate the glass sm'thce milts if the
glass is broken. Spillove_s or cleaning solution
may penetrate a broken cooktop and create
a risk of electrical shock. Contact a qualified
technician immediately should yore" glass
cooktop becollle broken.
Use care when touching the cooktop. The
glass surthce of the cooktop will retain heat
atier the controls have been tin'ned off'.
Do not touch glass-ceramic sm'face traits while
cooking. These sm'thces may be hot enough to
burn even though they may appear dark in
color. During and atter use, do not touch, or
let clothing or other flammable materials
contact tile cooking sm_hce. Note tile hot
indicator lights and allow sufficient time fin.

Cook meat and poultry thoroughly--meat to

cookware will expose a portion of tile sm'thce
trait to direct contact and may result in
ignition of clothing. Proper relationship of
cookware to SlU'thce refit will also improve
efficiency. See the Cookware Tips section of
tile manual.
Never try to move a pan of hot tht, espedally
a deei>tat flTer. X4hit tmtil the tat is cool.
To minimize tile possibility of burns, ignition
of flammable materials and spillage, tile
handle of a container should be turned
toward tile center of tile cooktop without
extending over any nearby surti_ce traits.

Do not leave paper products, cooking utensils

Avoid scratching the glass cooktop. The
cooktop can be scratched with items such
as shaq) instruments, rings or other jewelry
and rivets on clothing.
i,arge scratches or impacts to glass cooktops
can lead to broken or shattered glass.
Never use the glass cooktop surtace as
a cutting board.
Be careflfl when placing spoons or other
stirring utensils on glass cooktop sm'thce when
it is in use. Thev may become hot and could
Ca rise b/lEns.
Avoid heating an empty pan. Doing so may
damage the cooktop and the pan.
Do not allow water, other liquids or grease
to remain on tile cooktop.
Mwavs heat tat slowly, and watch as it heats.
