Cony Roast
The Conv Roast function combines a cool< cycle with the
convection fan to roast meats and poultry. Meats cooked
with Conv Roast function will be juicer and poultry will be
crisp on the outside while staying tender and moist on the
inside.
Conv Roast may be set for any oven temperature between
300°F (149°C) to 550°F (288°C).
Suggestions for Cony Roast:
° Preheating is not necessary when roasting foods using
Conv Roast.
° Since Conv Roast cooks food faster, reduce the cool<
time by 25% from the recommended cool< time of your
recipe (check the food at this time). If necessary,
increase cool< time until the desired doneness is
obtained.
° Do not cover foods when dry roasting - this will prevent
the meat from browning properly.
Example - To set Cony Roast with a default oven set
temperature of 350°F:
1. Press Conv Roast key pad.
2. Press sT,_r.
To cancel Conv Roast at anytime press STOP.
Important notes:
* The Convection fan will take 6 minutes to begin
rotating after the Cony Roast has been turned
activated. This is normal.
° If the oven door is opened when any convection
function is active, the convection fan will stop rotating
until the oven door is closed.
Cony Convert
The Conv Convert function allows you to convert any
baking recipe using the convection feature. The control
uses the normal recipe settings and adjusts to a lower
temperature for convection baking.
When Conv Convert is used with a cool< time or a delay
start setting, the convect convert feature will display a CF
as a reminder to check food when the bake time is 75°/0
complete (See Fig. 1). At this time the oven control will
sound 1 long beep at regular intervals until the set cool<
time has finished.

Example - To add Cony Convert to Cony Bake function
using default oven set temperature:
1. Press Cony Bake key pad.
2. Press Cony Convert key pad.
To cancel Conv Convert at anytime press STOP.

feature.

reductions may vary depending on the oven set
temperature.
° The minimum amount of Cook Time that may be
entered using the Conv Convert function is 20 minutes.
