With the help of the following guide, minor faults in the performance of the
appliance, some of which may result from incorrect operation, can be put right
without contacting the Service Department, saving you both time and money.
The following guide may help you to find the reason for a fault, and to correct it.
You should, however, note the following:

Installation work and repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried
out by a suitably qualified person in strict accordance with current local and
national safety regulations. Repairs and other work by unqualified persons
could be dangerous.
Problem Possible cause and remedy
You cannot switch the
appliance on.
The mains fuse has tripped.
^ Reset the trip switch in the mains fuse box or
replace the fuse (minimum fuse rating - see data
plate).
There may be a technical fault.
^ Disconnect the appliance from the electricity
supply for approx. 1 minute. To do this:
switch off at the wall socket, or switch off at the
isolator, or
disconnect the mains fuse.
If, after resetting the trip switch in the mains fuse
box and switching the appliance back on, the
appliance will still not heat up, contact a qualified
electrician or the Miele Service Department.
The appliance does not heat
up.
Demonstration mode is activated.

Deactivate demonstration mode (see "Settings").
The oven cavity has been warmed up by a
warming drawer in operation underneath it.
^
Open the door and let the oven cool down.
