Suitable for flat items, such as: cutlets,
steak, burgers, toast, cheese toast.

Suitable for grilling thick cuts, such as:
kebabs, rolled meat, poultry.
ß Microwave+Grill b
ß Microwave+Fan grill M
The grilling time is shorter.
A microwave power level of no more
than 300 W is used throughout the
grilling duration.
Preparing food for grilling
Rinse meat under cold running water
and then pat dry. Do not season meat
with salt before grilling as this draws
the juices out.
Add a little oil if necessary. Do not use
other types of fat as they can get too
dark, burn and cause smoke. A little
melted butter can be brushed onto
chicken if desired.
Clean flat fish and slices of fish in the
normal way. To enhance the taste add
a little salt or squeeze a little lemon
juice over the fish.
Grilling on the rack
Pre-heat the grill for
approx. 5 minutes with the oven
door shut. Do not select or switch on
the microwave function during this
time.

Rub a little oil into the rack and place
the food to be grilled on top.

Select the grill function you want.
Grill Y
Temperature
The temperature is fixed, i.e. you
cannot alter the temperature as it is set
automatically.
Shelf level
^ Depending on the size of the food,
select the 2nd or 3rd shelf level from
the bottom.
^
Turn the food halfway through the
cooking time.
