Correct use

This appliance is intended for
domestic use only, specifically for the
cool storage of foodstuffs, for storing
deep-frozen food, for freezing fresh
food and for preparing ice.
Any other use is not condoned by the
manufacturer and could be dangerous.
The manufacturer will not be held liable
for damage caused by incorrect or
improper use of the appliance.

This appliance is not a toy! To avoid
the risk of injury, do not allow children
to play on or near it, or to play with the
controls. Supervise use of the
appliance by the elderly or infirm.
Technical safety

This appliance contains the coolant
R134a, which is an environmentally
acceptable, non-flammable
hydrofluorocarbon (HFC). It does not
damage the ozone layer. For more
information on the coolant, refer to the
information plate posted on the inside
of the refigerator section. When
transporting and installing the
appliance, care must be taken not to
damage any part of the cooling system.
If damage does occur:
- unplug the appliance from the socket,
- air the room where the appliance is,
for several minutes,
- contact the Miele Service Department
for advice.

you must make sure that the electrical
rating (voltage and frequency,
indicated on the model plate)
corresponds to the household electrical
supply. These ratings must match, in
order to avoid damaging the
applicance. If in doubt, please contact
a qualified electrician.
