TROUBLESHOOTING
Turn the bypass screw counter
clockwise to fully open the bypass
flame.
Average the temperature of each
burner reading.
Continued from Previous Page
Move the surface measurement
instrument to the center of the
griddle over each burner.
Record this temperature.
Reinstall the silver cover in the
knob center.
Remove the knobs, bezels and
valve cover panel.
Allow reading to stabilize to 300°F.
Place a digital surface temperature
instrument in the center of the
griddle.
NOTE: If the user is dissatisfied
with the griddle temperature
recovery time.
To adjust the temperature, locate
the center of the thermostat.
Scrape the paint seal off of the
screw.
NOTE! Only turn this screw by
small increments.
While holding the knob at the
300°F setting, push the screw in
and turn it in the direction indicated
to chan
g
e the tem
p
erature.
If the temperature cannot be set to
within 30°F replace the thermostat
and retest.
Repeat this procedure at each
burner until the temperature
stabilizes to within 30°F of the set
temperature.
Recalibrate the thermostats.
Record the temperatures.
NOTE! There are arrows around
the screw indicating (H) to increase
and (L) to decrease the
temperature.
Reinstall the knobs, bezels and
valve cover panel.
