SALAD DRESSINGS AND MARINADES
Asian Salad Dressing
½ cup caster sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce

/3 cup (80ml) rice vinegar (or malt vinegar)

/3 cup (160ml) olive oil
1. Heat the sugar, soy sauce and vinegar over
a low heat until the sugar has dissolved;
cool.
2. Place all ingredients into the jug and place
lid firmly onto jug.
3. Slowly increase speed to 3 and process
until the mixture has emulsified and
become thick and creamy.
Red Wine Dressing
2 tablespoons good quality red wine vinegar
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons caster sugar
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons sea salt
1. Combine all ingredients into the jug and
place lid firmly onto jug.
2. Slowly increase speed to 3 and process
until the mixture has emulsified and
become thick and creamy.
Balsamic Orange Dressing
2 teaspoons finely grated orange rind
2
/3 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 large clove garlic
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
1. Combine all ingredients into the jug and
place lid firmly onto jug.
2. Slowly increase speed to 2 and process
until the mixture is well combined.
