Warranty
BUILT-IN ELECTRIC OVENS WARRANTY
ONE YEAR FULL WARRANTY
Built-in electric ovensand alloftheir componentparts andaccessories, except as detailedbelow

o be freefrom defective materialsorworkmanship in normal household usefora periodof twelve(12) months
from the date of originalretailpurchase.VikingRange Corporation,warrantor,agreestorepair or replace, at its
option,anypartwhich failsor is found tobe defective during the warranty period.
*Glass (including lightbulbs), painted anddecorativeitems arewarrantedto be free fromdefective materials or
w
orkmanship fora period of ninety(90) daysfrom thedate oforiginalretail purchase. ANY DEFECTSMUSTBE
REPORTEDTOTHE SELLINGDEALERWITHINNINETY(90)DAYSFROMDATE OF ORIGINAL RETAIL
PURCHASE.
VikingRange Corporation uses themost up-to-date processes andbestmaterials available to produce allcolor

inishes. However,slight colorvariation maybenoticed becauseoftheinherent differences in painted partsand
porcelainparts as well as differences in kitchen lighting,productlocations,and otherfactors.
FIVE YEARLIMITED WARRANTY
A
nybakeelement,broilelement,or convection cook elementwhich failsdue to defectivematerials or
workmanshipin normal household useduringthesecond through fifth year from the date oforiginalretail
purchase will berepaired or replaced,free of charge for thepartitself, with the ownerpayingall othercosts,

ncluding labor.
TEN YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Any porcelainoven orporcelaininner door panel whichrusts through due to defectivematerials or workmanship
innormal household useduringthesecond through thetenth year fromthedateoforiginalretail purchasewill
berepaired orreplaced,free of chargeforthe part itself, with theowner paying allother costs, including labor.
NINETY (90) DAY RESIDENTIAL PLUS WARRANTY This warrantyapplies to applicationswhere use of the
product extendsbeyondnormal residentialuse. Examples are, but notlimited to,bed andbreakfasts,fire
stations,private clubs, churches,etc. Thiswarrantyexcludesall commerciallocations such asrestaurants, food
servicelocations andinstitutional food service locations.
Thiswarrantyextends to theoriginalpurchaserof the product warranted hereunder andtoeach transferee owner
ofthe product duringtheterm of the warranty.
Thiswarrantyshall applytoproductspurchasedand locatedintheUnitedStatesandCanada.Productsmustbe
purchasedinthecountry where service is requested. Warranty laborshall be performed byanauthorizedViking
Range Corporation service agency or representative. Warranty shallnot applytodamageresultingfromabuse,
accident,natural disaster, loss of electricalpower to theproductforany reason,alteration, outdoor use, improper
installation,improper operation, or repair or service of theproductby anyoneother than an authorizedViking
Range Corporation service agency or representative. This warrantydoes not applytocommercial usage.
Warrantor is not responsible for consequentialorincidentaldamagewhether arising outof breach of warranty,
breach ofcontract, or otherwise.Some jurisdictionsdo not allowthe exclusionorlimitationof incidental or
consequentialdamages,sotheabove limitationor exclusion may notapply to you.
Owner shall be responsibleforproper installation, providing normal care and maintenance,providingproofof
purchase upon request, andmakingtheappliancereasonably accessible forservice.Iftheproductoroneofits
componentparts contains adefectormalfunction during the warranty period, aftera reasonablenumberof
attempts by thewarrantor to remedy thedefects or malfunctions, theowner is entitledto eithera refundor
replacementoftheproduct or itscomponent part orparts.Warrantor’sliabilityon any claimofanykind, with
respecttothegoods or servicescovered hereunder,shallin no caseexceedtheprice ofthegoods or service or
partthereofwhich givesrise tothe claim.
WARRANTY SERVICE:
Under the terms ofthis warranty,servicemustbe performed by afactory authorizedVikingRange Corporation
serviceagent or representative. Servicewillbe provided during normal businesshours,andlaborperformed at
overtime or premium rates shallnotbecovered bythiswarranty.Toobtain warranty service,contact thedealer
from whomtheproductwas purchased, an authorized Viking Range Corporationservice agent, orViking Range
Corporation. Provide modeland serial number and date of original purchase.Forthe nameof yournearest
authorized Viking RangeCorporation service agency,call the dealer fromwhom the product waspurchasedor
VikingRange Corporation.IMPORTANT: Retainproof of originalpurchase to establish warranty period.
The return ofthe OwnerRegistrationCardisnot acondition of warrantycoverage.
You should,however,return
the Owner Registration CardsothatViking Range Corporation cancontact youshouldanyquestion of safety
arise which couldaffect you.
Any implied warranties ofmerchantabilityand fitnessapplicabletotheabove described bake element, broil
element, convection cook element,porcelainoven, or porcelaininner door panelare limited in durationto the
period of coverage of the applicable express written limitedwarrantiesset forthabove.Some jurisdictionsdo not
allow limitations on how long an impliedwarrantylasts,sotheabove limitationmaynot apply to you. This
warranty givesyouspecific legalrights, and youmayalsohaveother rights which mayvary from jurisdictionto
jurisdiction.
