I f the wat er pipes are new or have no t been use d for an extended period of ti me , let the
w ate r run to make sure th at the wat er is clear. This pre caut ion is need ed to avoid the
r isk of the w ater in let to be blocked an d damage the appliance .
Th ew ater supp ly to the app lianc e ca n also b e connec ted to th e house hold hot water
line (su ch a s, cent ra l system, heatin g system),as lon g as it does no t exceed a
temper ature of 60 C. In this case , the wash cycle tim e will be s hor tene d by abo ut 15
minutesandthe wash efficiency slightly reduced.
Th eco nnection mus t be made to the hot wate r lin e fo llo wi ng the same procedu res as
describedi nthe section for the connection to the cold water line.
WARNING!
Improper connection of the equipment earthing conductor can result in the risk of an electric shock.
Check with a qualified electrician or service representative if you are in doubt whether the
appliance is properly earthed.
Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance. If the plug does not fit properly to the outlet,
please have a qualified electrician to install a proper outlet.
In order to avoid that there ism ore water staying in the inlet hose, please close
the hydrant after using.(Not applicable to appliances without aqua-stop.)
