Most cooking problems often are caused by little things you can find and fix without tools of
any kind. Check the lists below and on the next page before calling for assistance or service.

RANGE ~0~s NOT WORK
PROBLEM
CAUSE
Nothing works
0 The range is not properly connected to the gas supply. Contact an autho-
rized Roper service technician to reconnect the range to the gas supply.
(See the Installation Instructions.)
0 You have blown a household fuse or tripped a circuit breaker.
0 The control knob is not set correctly. Push in the control knobs before
turning them.
(~EN/BR~ILER BURNER
PROBLEM
The oven does not work
CAUSE
0 You have not set the oven control knob correctly. Refer to the proper
instructions.

The main or regulator gas shutoff valve is in the off position. (See the
Installation Instructions.)
The burner fails to light 0 The ignitor is broken. Contact an authorized Roper service technician to
replace it.
0 You have blown a household fuse or tripped a circuit breaker.
The burner flames lift
away from the ports, are
yellow, or are noisy
0 The air/gas mixture is incorrect. Contact an authorized Roper service
technician to check the air/gas mixture or see the Installation Instructions.

The burner ports may be clogged. Clean them with a straight pin. (See pages
