If you need service or assistance,
we suggest you follow these four steps:
1.
Before calling for assistance...
Performance problems often result from little
things you can find and fix yourself withouttools
of any kind.
If nothing operates:
l
Have you checked the main fuse or circuit
breaker box?
l
Is the oven correctly plugged into a live circuit
with the proper voltage? (See “Installation
Instructions:‘)
If the microwave oven will not run:
. Is the oven being used as a timer?
l
Is the door firmly closed and latched?
l
Did you touch START?
l
Did you follow the directions exactly?
If the microwave cooking times seem too
long:
l
Is the electric supply to your home or wall out-
lets low or lower than normal? Your electric
company can tell you if the line voltage is tow.
Your electrician or service technician can tell
you if the outlet voltage is low
l
Is the Cook Power set correctly?
l
Are you allowing for more time when cooking
more food at one time?
If the display shows a time counting down but
the oven is not cooking:
l
Is the oven door closed tightly?
l
Have you set the controls as a kitchen timer?
If you do not hear the programming tone:
l
Is the command correct?
If the oven or cooktop light does not work:
l
Is the bulb or lamp loose or burned out?
l
Is the white plastic connector plug fully
inserted?
l
Is the cooktop ilght starter loose or burned
out?
If the exhaust fan does not work:
l
Have you checked the main fuse or circuit
breaker box?
If the exhaust fan does not turn off:
l
The exhaust fan comes on automatically, to
protect the microwave oven, if the tempera-
ture gets too hot
